Spanish beer maker Estrella Damm has been making some very cool videos for a while now. Their epic series that discuss the company’s values has a new addition – Act III. Commitment. This cinematic 90-second ad highlights their commitment to the environment by no longer using plastic rings.
The video is very powerful. It features a whole cast of dancers performing in a wide range of scenes – on the beach, on a clifftop, in a cave. The dancers move with grace and ferocity in this environmental themed video, facing the perils that threaten the natural world.
In one scene, the dancers face a giant ball of fire and douse the flames with sand. In another, they stand up to a bulldozer that threatens to destroy a tree they are guarding. A falcon is released from a net, and plastic is pulled from the sea.
Everything is done in a highly stylised, cinematic way, beautiful shot and edited. The campaign is part of Estrella Damm’s sustainability ambitions to become more environmentally friendly.
The incredible dancers and choreography are front and centre of this video, and I’ve never seen a beer advert quite like it.
