London-based motion design company Mr Kaplin have put together this brilliant short film of looping animations, all moving in extremely satisfying ways…
TINK is actually a collection of the studio’s #MKDailies experiments, an exercise in design in which they would create short and simple animations based on a common theme. Taking the elements that had been made and putting them all into one video, the different animations are blended together seamlessly to create one constantly looping machine.
Featuring lines of permanently-marching cubes, spheres on wires swinging perfectly through moving obstacles and a ball balancing surprisingly well on a line – the video features all kinds of weird and wonderful sights, all perfectly matched in colour palettes and in the motion itself.
