Hip Hop’s loudest rapper DMX breaks down his most iconic tracks in this interesting interview with GQ.

The rapper is known for his brash and abrasive style. Any Hip Hop fans instantly recognise his voice when they hear his music. Despite his first record coming out over 20 years, DMX still gets played all over the globe in clubs to this day. In this interview, he tells us how he came up with some of his most well-known songs and where he got his distinctive rapping style from.

He walks us through some of his biggest hits like X Gon’ Give It To Ya, Party Up and Ruff Riders Anthem. X admits that for that last track, it only took him 15 minutes to write. That’s pretty impressive, as it went on to be one of his biggest songs yet. It’s another interesting video from GQ where they pick the brains of some of the biggest music artists around.
