The video for British group Django Django’s single Beam Me Up features a lot of just that – travelling vertically upwards. Presented as one continuous lift journey, the video takes us on a tour of elevators in different locations around the world. We begin by travelling above the streets of London, before going through bookshops, offices, construction sites, even a snow-covered ski resort. The video is extremely well edited to make it look like one continuous journey, and is a brilliant example of taking a simple idea and completely running with it.
