Deadpool’s marketing team must have so much fun sitting around thinking up ridiculous ideas for how to promote the next instalment in the R-rated superhero’s adventures, and it really shows in the first teaser for Deadpool 2. The video pokes fun at the Superman cliché of changing in a phone-booth, this time taking things a lot more literally as Ryan Reynolds takes so long putting on his costume the victim is dead and the criminal long gone by the time he is ready. It’s a hilarious trailer that plays to the Deadpool branding of subversive humour and adult material.
