This powerful and moving animation was made for a New York based non-profit organisation called Day One, that works to prevent domestic violence and abuse among young people. The short video begins happy enough, showing a young couple becoming romantic and starting a relationship set to Katrina & The Waves Walking On Sunshine. Over the course of the video however, things take an extremely dark turn as we see the young man begin to control the girl in terms of how she dresses, what she eats and who she hangs out with. The powerful central message of the campaign is only added to by the brilliant animation, as we see the girl visually get dragged further and further into a relationship that is built upon abuse and mistrust.
