Modern food trends are a constantly changing environment these days – one week it’s all about vegan brunch roller discos, next week you find out that milk contains horse meat. Danone decided to put some unsuspecting diners to the test to see how far they were willing to go to follow the latest hip-food trends by setting up a restaurant full of hidden cameras and bombarding them with increasingly bizarre dishes. The waiter keeps informing them every two minutes or so that the menu is changing (“we’re now serving paleo, high protein, slow food”) and bringing them out ostrich eggs that require heating up with a lamp and even a goldfish that needs to be complimented before eaten.
