This incredible Spanish documentary introduces us to Ramon the truck driver and his unlikely companion – Cucli the dove. What begins as an informal and cheery story, of how he rescued Cucli from his cat and nursed it back to health, slowly begins to take a serious and deeply philosophical turn. After losing his wife years before, Ramon talks at length about his beliefs in angels and reincarnation, and how having this special relationship with Cucli has helped him come to terms with both the losses he has suffered throughout his life, and how he sees his place in the world and faces the idea of death.
