Nick Park’s original animated short that became the basis for the Creature Comforts television series is still as charming and personable today as it was back in 1991 when it won the Oscar for best Animated short. Taking non-scripted interviews with members of the British public and putting them in the mouths of animals within a zoo, the trademark style of what would become Aardman Animation Studios can be seen in the fluid movements of the characters and expressive eyes, as well as the way the characteristics of each animal have been perfectly matched to the tone of the voice in question.
