The BBC meet the gamers who’ve created the city of London in Minecraft. The game allows players to create entire worlds from scratch (sort of like a virtual lego). In this video, we get to see some of their amazing creations

 

Using Google Maps Streetview and architectural blueprints as a guide, two creators spent years putting together some of London’s most iconic landmarks. Their most impressive feats have to be their virtual versions of St. Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge.

Amazingly, one of them even faithfully recreated Pimlico tube station! It takes years of painstaking planning and effort to create these masterpieces, so take a good look at them and enjoy the video!
