Lego and Star Wars create a fully-functional orchestra using nothing but Lego models in this brilliant video. We’ve never seen anything like this before.

In it, producer Sam Battle sets up a series of Star Wars models and links them up to a computer. He then programmes them to play specific instruments at certain times. The end result is a pitch perfect rendition of the iconic Star Wars opening theme music. It’s brilliant to see all the different toys play each part and to see how Sam organises the whole thing.

The huge orchestra is made up of 95 individual Lego toys playing over 45 instruments and it took over 3000 hours to build all the models. It’s a huge achievement and the end result is truly amazing. The original Star Wars soundtrack is one of the most iconic and well-known movie soundtracks of all time. It was created by legendary composer John Williams back in 1977. We reckon he’d be pretty impressed with this video don’t you? What did you think of it? Let us know down in the comments.
