Complex continue their Spirit Of Conviction documentary series with this video that shows us the work of Trap Kitchen. Set up by rival gang members Spank and News, it looks to soften tensions in Compton, LA through a shared loved of food.

Los Angeles is home to over 120,000 gang members and Compton is known for being a hotbed of criminal activity. Fierce turf wars between the Bloods and Crips gangs are common and members rarely forge relationships outside of their chosen group. But, the founders of Trap Kitchen decided that enough was enough and came together, despite their affiliations, to start a food truck business, aimed at uniting disparate groups in their community.
