Celebrating Chinese New Year, here’s this year’s traditional video from Apple.

To showcase the filming capabilities of their iPhone 13 Pro, they’ve released this short film shot entirely on the phone.

It’s your classic riches to rags to riches, featuring an aspiring director who’s just been sent home after an injury at his day job – as a stuntman on a new feature film.

But while he might be struggling to believe in his dreams, his village has nothing but belief. They convince him to create a film promoting their forgotten hometown, and to bring it back to life.

It’s a very touching, at times comic, tale. And as ever, a great example of what can be made with just a cameraphone.
