Chelsea wore a vintage-inspired kit for their last FA Cup game to celebrate 50 years since they first won the competition. Learn about the history of that win in this video.

The Blues have often been criticised for not having as much history as the other big teams in the Premier League. But in this video, we learn that that assessment isn’t really fair. The west London team have been a significant force in footy for decades. We get to see old footage of them progressing through the the FA Cup in 1969, where they eventually reach the final. It ends in a draw, so the game is replayed, with Chelsea coming out as the winners.

It’s a really nice vid that captures the style, culture and vibe of London in the late 60s. As the seventies began, Britain was producing some of the best music, fashion and football that the world had ever seen and the trendy area of Chelsea was right in the thick of it. This promo serves as a time capsule for an awesome era in the UK.
