Fashion brand DIESEL’s Be a Follower campaign takes direct aim at Instagram influencers by championing all the things that they can’t do.

 

Presented in a grainy, retro style, we see a sort of Ten Commandments of all the things that ‘followers’ can do – everything from eating with your hands to washing your jeans in the sink of a public toilet… The campaign is well timed when the use the influencers in fashion and advertising is coming under such scrutiny, but plays well into DIESEL’s branding as an edgy brand not afraid to skirt the zeitgeist.
