Channel 4 is airing a brand new animated version of the classic book The Tiger Who Came To Tea. The trailer is out now and the programme will air on christmas eve this year.
The children’s story is about a large tiger who meets a young girl and has tea at her mum’s house. Kids from all over the world known and love the book and we’re sure that loads of youngsters will be excited to see the big cat on their small screens this christmas.
The same animators who brought The Snowman and The Snowdog to life will take on this project. The animated film has an all-star cast as well. It features David Walliams, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tamsin Greig and many more. We can’t wait to see one of our favourite childhood books on the telly this year. It’s the first time that the story has been brought to life on television. The book is still extremely popular, despite being first published way back in 1968.
