We’ve all struggled to build a Lego set at some point in our lives. Finding all the right pieces and putting them in the right place can be a really difficult task. But imagine trying to build a Lego set in zero gravity.

That’s what astronaut Mike Massimino is tasked with in this video. Fittingly, he has to build a lunar lander out of Lego bricks. Things don’t get off to a good start, as he tears the packet wide open, spilling loose bricks everywhere. It’s a bit of a nightmare. But he does manage to get them all back in the end and he successfully assembles the model.

Lego really hit it out of the park with this ad. It’s interesting to see someone put together a Lego set in true zero-g. At times, it looks like we’re looking at a CGI-filled promo, but there are no special effects here. All of the pieces and Mike himself are floating around for real. What an inventive advert from Lego, they’re taking their marketing to infinity, and beyond. We can’t wait to see more great stuff like this from them in the future.
