BT Sport’s “What I Wore” series sees Liverpool legend James Milner going through his favourite kits of his career.

The premise of this series is to get footballers to take a look at their favourite football shirts from their career. Not only that, but they also get to look at the old kits of their heroes as well. It’s a really interesting way for them to look back in time and relive their favourite moments at their old clubs. Milner is tailor-made for this series. The player’s career started way back in 2002 with Leeds United.

Now 33, James has been playing for over 17 years. Despite being in his mid thirties, he formed a vital part of Liverpool’s Champions League title win last summer. James has played for over 7 different clubs, so he has plenty of shirts to look back on. It’s really cool to see him reminiscing about old games and clubs. He’s played with some pretty interesting characters over the years as well, including the legendary Alan Shearer and hothead striker Mario Ballotelli.
