Charity Combat Stress show us what PTSD feels like in this moving ad. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is often experienced by war veterans, after they return home from dangerous and bloody wars.

One symptom of the condition is having severe flashbacks. These can make people feel like they’re right back in a war zone and it can force them to relive horrible events. For World War 2 veterans involved in the darkest battles, this can be an excruciating experience. Even years after they’ve left the front line, they’re still fighting their own battles

Despite the fact that most of us do know a lot about the Second World War, the true horror of the conflict often can’t be fully understood. This video shows us the terrifying reality of war and also how tough it can be to have those memories. The video ends by telling us that some ex-soldiers are still fighting the battles in their own minds and that we need to bring them home, all the way home.
