BR Football re-creates famous TV intros for the Champions League finals.

The competition sees Europe’s elite teams go head-to-head. Each of these teams have a long history and all have their own strong personalities. Throw exuberant players and eccentric managers into the mix and you have some that could resemble an ensemble TV show. In this video, we see each of the clubs from the last 16 of the UCL remade as telly programmes.

Liverpool’s squad is presented in the same style as the intro for Brooklyn Nine-Nine style, Ronaldo becomes Don Draper in a Juventus version of Mad Men and Atalanta is re-created as the hit show Atlanta (no points for creativity there…). It’s a clever promo that shows off the style and character of each side. The video is perfect for people who’d rather watch back-back knockout games than binge-watch the latest series. Our favourite of the bunch has to be the fake Bojack Horseman intro, where we get to see an animated version of a turmoiled Jose Mourinho. We’d definitely watch that show.
