The European migrant crisis is a pretty big issue to try and tackle in a film, but Bon Voyage manages to send a powerful message about the horrific things refugees experience on their journey to Europe and does it using simple doodle-style animation in under 6 minutes. The simple animation style is actually befitting the gravity of the subject the film is dealing with, and the twist at the end into live-action footage serves to drive home the idea that the things happening in this animation are real and happening to actual people.
