This short film by Daniel McKee was actually sort-of automatically generated by Google… McKee started with the iconic wallpaper image from Microsoft’s Windows XP of a rolling green hill, put it through Google reverse image search, picked the next image along and repeated the process. The result is a strange journey through Google Image’s search function, as hills lead us to canoes which lead us to surfing and then to skiing and so on and so forth, and its very weird to see how such an automated feature of the internet actually works in a visually appealing way.
