Black Panther’s Director Ryan Coogler Breaks Down a Fight Scene | Notes on a Scene | Vanity Fair

In this video for Vanity Fair the co-writer and director of marvel’s Black Panther, Ryan Coogler, talks us through one of the action scenes in the film and the work that went into it. Coogler breaks the scene down shot by shot, explaining costumes, colour schemes, fighting styles, VFX used and how some of the more technical camera moves were achieved. It’s a fascinating look into just how much thought went into the film, with each character’s personality expressed in the way they dress, talk and fight, and surely warrants another trip to the cinema just to marvel (zing) at how they pulled it all off.
