Birds can be pretty cool, but when their behaviours are performed literally it can be pretty disturbing. This short advert was produced for the Audubon Society of Rhode Island as part of their “Year of The Bird 2018” campaign, and shows us a man hilariously imitating a bird-like mating ritual in order to catch the attention of a couple of ladies on a bench. Posing, dancing and screeching, these tricks might work in the animal kingdom but when it comes to humans it’s not quite as effective – the video is part of a series of short humorous adverts that all highlight different aspects of bird behaviour by having them played out in a real-life context.
