The future is here people – or at least, it’s in the planning stages… This video serves as a taste of what is in the pipeline for the United Arab Emirates hyperloop system that aims to connect the cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and it looks like the coolest bloody thing to exist since the Gameboy Colour. In it we see a generic bloke have to rush home for his mother’s birthday, only instead of jumping in a cab he gets in some kind of levitating cube that flies between cities at hundreds of miles an hour. Though we might just have animations and artists renditions to look at for now, if there’s one country that has the money to actually thrown a project like this and make it happen, it’s got to be the UAE, right?
