In a novel way of marketing beach holidays, McCann Group came up with very physical way to advertise holidays in the Dominican Republic. This video details their findings that out of the millions of tourists who visit the country every year, the vast majority of these stay concentrated around 3 resorts, not using the hundreds of other beaches that the Caribbean nation has to offer. To combat this and make holiday makers aware of the vast array of locations on offer, McCann created a brochure of colours, made from actual sand from each of the beaches, that would allow people to get a sense of what they were missing out on just by touching it.
