BBC Sport visits David Beckham’s football team Inter Miami CF ahead of their first game in the MLS.

Becks grabbed headlines around the world when it was first announced that he would be founding his own soccer team in the states. As the league is relatively young, it’s not uncommon for new teams to be founded and admitted into the league, but this was the first time a former player from Europe had done so. Determined to rid the MLS of its reputation as a place for old elite players to wind down their careers at, David said his team would revitalise American soccer.

So far, he’s poured millions of his own money into the club and helped designed their snazzy logo and kit, although their official stadium is still being built. In this doc, we meet some of the players and people who’re involved in the running of the club. Curiously, it already has its own “ultras” fan group, despite the fact that Inter Miami haven’t actually played a game yet. The doc is an interesting insight into an exciting young team that could make a big difference to how the world views the MLS.
