BBC Sport goes inside the cult favourite football club, FC Union Berlin in this incredible documentary.

The side are known for being perpetual underdogs in German football. They are the lesser team in the capital, far behind the far richer and bigger club Hertha Berlin. Union have struggled to dominate the city throughout the years. In fact, the club has come close to failing before, with the most recent issue being their stadium. They needed vital repairs done to it, which they simply couldn’t afford. Things looked dire for the small team.

Incredibly, the fans started the “bleed for Union” campaign, where they donated blood to local hospitals and used to money earned from the donations to help fund the stadium repair works. The team is known for having one of the most dedicated and passionate fan bases in the world. The team shocked Germany when they actually managed to get promoted to the top league last season. This doc follows their incredible rise, and takes us inside their astounding fan base.
