BBC Click conducted an interview inside of the Watch Dogs: Legion video game. It’s the first time anyone has ever done it and it looks amazing.
The hotly anticipated title is set in a futuristic version of London. Entire swathes of the iconic city have been faithfully recreated in stunning detail. Residents of the capital were really impressed to see their neighbourhoods pop up in the dystopian world. Although the concept for the game was decided on some years ago, it’s plot makes references to real world events like Brexit and the rise of drone technology.
In this video, a BBC presenter is actually put inside the game to conduct an interview with one of the games creators. It’s pretty surreal seeing them have a casual chat in a virtual Piccadilly Circus. Could this be the future of interviewing? Maybe journalists will be able to take a virtual tour of the games before they’re released. The possibilities are endless. Are you living in London? Are you excited to explore an in-game version of your city? Let us know in the comments.
