The music video for Scandal by New York rapper Bashton and French producer Megalopolis was created by Megalopolis himself (real name Pablo Mengin) through painstaking amounts of painting – the video consists of over 2,000 paintings, animated together to create the full effect that’s reminiscent of the technique used to make 2017’s Loving Vincent. The visuals themselves are surreal and colourful, showing everything from the Statue of Liberty’s face covered in blood to a young boy with a balloon being consumed in an atomic blast.
