As Destiny’s Child famously put it – I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly… Filmmaker Alex Soloviev’s short film AWESOMES is a jellyfish-filled homage to the deepest reaches of our oceans. Created without using any special VFX and simply with some clever lens effects, Soloviev cuts together footage of these incredible animals floating and bobbing their way around each other, with transitions flashing between shots and keeping up the tempo with the pumping techno soundtrack. The whole thing looks like something shot in outer-space, and makes you appreciate the beauty of these creatures that very few people ever get to actually see.
