If you know anything about the legendary UK electronic producer Aphex Twin then you know anything he releases is going to be pretty bizarre – prepare yourself, then, for his latest music video T69 Collapse.

The single was released after a viral campaign which saw Aphex Twin logos mysteriously springing up in cities around the world, and is the first release from the the producer since 2016’s Cheetah EP.

The video itself uses fractal graphics and movement based on the track itself to create undulating and jittery landscapes that pulsate and morph in time to the music. Combining 3D elements such as cities, mountains, faces and buildings, the video is a bizarre and abstract kaleidoscope of colours and shapes melting together.

The video (understandably) failed the Harding Test, which determines whether a video can be broadcast due to its potential to cause seizures to people with epilepsy.
