This love-letter to America by filmmaker Eddie O’Keefe introduces us to the most American person to have ever America-d. THE HERO is the main character in American Folklore, and he narrates the short film throughout as the visuals show us the various parts of his life story. THE HERO claims to have been born in the zero, to have invented both fire and the wheel, and to have killed just about every different kind of bad-guy you can think of. The film is shot in super-grainy footage to give it an old-school Western kind of feel, and keeps its tongue firmly in cheek throughout as we see the all-American badass doing his thing.
