Ever heard the saying that something is “so good it should be illegal”? Well, 1850 Coffee makes that idea come to life in this epic, cop show parody.

In this ad we see how 1850 Coffee has taken over a US city in the 1980s. It’s reminiscent of the cocaine and crack epidemic that the US faced in real life, but instead of Class A drugs, its top class coffee that’s being taken off the streets. We see people making the coffee in meth-style labs and getting raided by the cops. Even the chief of police is caught sipping on a nice cup of Joe.

1850 Coffee Makes Caffeine Illegal In This Hilarious Ad image of 1850 Coffee

It’s a brilliant ad that takes inspiration from classic 80s buddy cop movies like Beverly Hills Cop and Lethal Weapon. The promo ends by telling us that 1850 Coffee’s quality is criminal. If coffee was made illegal, we reckon people would still find a way to get their hands on it like everyone in this ad. It’s a hilarious concept. Are we the only ones who would love to see this turned into a real TV show? We’d definitely watch it…
